Cathleen Renkiewicz PT, DPT, GCS, CEEAA

Cathy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, then after many years of clinical practice, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia.

Cathy earned her Board Certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is a certified LSVT BIG and PWR!Moves therapist for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. She is dual certified as both a Meeks Method and BoneFit therapist for the treatment of osteoporosis/bone loss and postural disorders. She is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor, and completed the APTA Geriatric section series of in-person training seminars to obtain her CEEAA (Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults) certification. Additionally, she completed multiple seminars and projects to meet the requirements for the Advanced Certification in Leadership through the APTA LAMP leadership program.

Cathy’s clinical interests focus on improving function and movement with persons with Parkinson’s Disease and other Movement Disorders, those with osteoporosis/bone loss with fracture risk and postural deformities, and the older adult.

Cathy’s outside interests include running, biking, hiking, golfing badly, playing pickleball and spending time with family, friends, and her grandchildren. She is also a dog lover and she and her husband have three dogs.
