In 2014, Kathy’s mom was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) which inspired her to start a new career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She plans to attend OTA School in the fall of 2019. She spent her growing up years as a “military brat” moving all over the world. She met her husband Steve while he was serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Marine Corps Headquarters in Arlington, VA. After his military service, they settled in Fairfax Station, VA and started a family. Kathy and her husband have been married for 25 years and have 5 children, Joshua (23), Ben (21), Andrew (19), Rachel (17) and Jacob (13).
