Alisha received a Bachelor of Science degree in Leisure Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of South Alabama in 2010 and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Howard University in 2013. Since graduation, Alisha has worked in various settings including acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. She has an interest in neurological and orthopedic disorders. Alisha enjoys teaching clinical labs at Howard University as means of continue to support her profession and almamater. Alisha is a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and is active on both a local and national level. She just recieved her LSVT BIG certification as of September, 2017.
